Simple Water Pouring Activity for Kids

Simple Water Pouring Activity for Kids

All kids love activities that include water and this is just a simple pouring activity .

Water play when incorporated with pouring and transferring from one glass to another is a lot of fun.

During summer season , water play is our top favorite.

Ill be sharing below how easy this simple pouring water setup is to put together.

You'll need -

  • A bowl ( half filled with water )
  • 2 cups or glasses
  • A tray

That's it !

  • Playing is super simple . Instruct your child to dip the cup or glass into the bowl and fill it with water .
  • Once done, keep the bowl aside. Now, let the child pour/ transfer the water from one glass to another .
  • You can also sing along , " This is the way we pour the water , pour the water , pour the water "

My little one was really excited pouring water from one glass to another and his excitement also led to some spillage 😂 He still continued the process .

Water pouring activities also have so many uncountable benefits :

  • Good hand eye coordination
  • Fine motor skills
  • Sensory benefits
  • Creativity and Imagination
  • Practical life skills to pour and fill .
